Services
Blue Line Movers provides local and long-distance moving, packing, storage, and related services within Massachusetts and to the interstate destinations listed on this site. All moves are performed by our own employees — not subcontracted labor or day-labor crews.
Estimates and Pricing
Estimates are based on the information provided at the time of quote, including inventory, access conditions, and distance. Final charges may vary if the actual scope of the move differs from what was described — for example, additional items, stairs, or parking restrictions not disclosed in advance. Hourly rates, flat-rate bands, and add-on pricing (piano, gun safe, storage) are as published on this site or as confirmed at your in-home estimate.
Deposits and Cancellations
A deposit is required to hold your scheduled move date and is credited toward your final invoice. Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made as early as possible; deposits may be non-refundable for cancellations made with insufficient notice before the scheduled date.
Liability and Coverage
Basic released-value coverage is included on every job at no additional charge. Full replacement-value protection is available and can be added at your in-home walkthrough. Blue Line Movers is registered with the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities for intrastate moves, with US DOT and MC authority on file for interstate moves.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for accurately describing inventory and access conditions (stairs, elevators, parking, building rules) at the time of booking, and for disclosing any items requiring special handling, such as pianos, safes, or high-value goods.
Limitation of Liability
Except as provided under applicable coverage, Blue Line Movers’ liability for loss or damage is limited to the terms of the coverage selected at booking. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including severe weather, road closures, or building access restrictions not disclosed in advance.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
